Mary Medlicott
Mary Medlicott has been a professional storyteller for more than 25 years. She delights in working with adults and children in educational, community and performance settings and has performed in numerous festivals and arts venues. Mary is also the author of several collections of children's stories and two novels for children, Open Secret and Elephant Luck. She is interested in Welsh and international culture and in exploring the ways in which stories are transmitted, both orally and on paper. Originally from Pembrokeshire, Mary currently shares her time between Pembrokeshire and London and is working on a new collection of stories of stories about the legendary Pembrokeshire character Shemi Wâd.
