Building bridges to the imagination

Although Frances Thomas was born in Wales (in Aberdare to be precise), she lived most of her life in London. As well as writing, she worked for many years with dyslexic pupils. Frances is married to a historian, Richard, and a few years ago, they decided to move to the beautiful Radnorshire valley where they used to spend family holidays. They have two grown-up daughters, Harriet and Lucy. Frances is now learning Welsh (with difficulty, she confesses) and enjoys walking in the hills, painting and just looking at the scenery.
